The Harker Heights United Methodist Church is a vibrant church dedicated to be the ROCK of Harker Heights. ROCK is an acronym for Refueling, Oasis, Clinic, and Kindergarten.
• In Refueling we believe that every believer becomes dry at times and needs a new boost. We dedicate our worship experience to help each Christian gain strength and vitality.
• The Oasis is because we know that, for any number of reasons, there are those who will only be with us for a season. These individuals and families need to get that drink that will enable them to have the strength they need to continue their journey.
• We also believe that every person has areas in their lives where healing needs to take place. We believe strongly that God hears our prayers for healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This is the focus of the Clinical aspect of the Rock.
• And lastly we recognize the need to train both children and adults the basics of what it means to be a Christian and how this will apply to everyday living. Through basic teachings we will grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. This is our Kindergarten focus of the ROCK.
We welcome and invite all to come to the ROCK and receive the blessings God has for you.
